Currently the latest firmware update we have for the HP Tuners nGauge is version 3.35.
Step 1: Download the latest firmware - Firmware 3.35
Step 2. Either connect to the HP Tuners nGauge with a mini USB cable if you have one, or unplug the OBD2 cable from the car and remove the SD card from the HP Tuners nGauge and install it into your computer using the SD card adapter. If using the mini USB cable, when the HP Tuners nGauge powers up, go to "SETTINGS>USB SD" for the HP Tuners nGauge to be recognized.
Step 3. Find the nGauge folder/SD card and open it.
Step 4. Place the latest firmware into the nGauge folder/SD card. Do no place it in any of the sub-folders on the SD card. DO NOT REMOVE OR DELETE OLD FIRMWARE VERSIONS OR RENAME FIRMWARE FILES
Step 5. Eject the SD card/nGauge from the computer, and re-install the SD card into your powered down HP Tuners nGauge if removed.
Step 6. Power up the HP Tuners nGauge
Step 7. From the main menu, select "SETTINGS>DIAGNOSTICS>UPDATE FROM SD"
Step 8. Check that the firmware is now updated by going to "DIAGNOSTICS>SETTINGS>DEVICE INFO"
If the update doesn't install, repeat install process. If update continues to fail, contact support@e-motionproducts.com
Step 9. After you update, go to "GAUGES>RESCAN VEHICLE". Your Gauges settings and layout will go back to the default settings, but you have access to the latest parameters to assist you and your tuner!
